If we could only have one national treasure, it would be the ground we walk on.  When we want action, we hit the ground running.  When we refer to the solid character of a person, they're well-grounded.  When we leave nothing to chance and desire to be thorough, we work from the ground up.  When we are passionate about someone, we worship the ground they walk on.  And when we're passionate about a belief, we stand our ground.  Of course, the list goes on, but the point is the very earth we live on must be treasured.
