BLACK RIVER FALLS, WI. – May 21, 2015
At the annual Top Projects in Wisconsin Awards banquet hosted by The Daily Reporter, Hoffman Construction Company (HCC) won a Top Project award for work completed on the US 41/29 Interchange Reconstruction located in Brown County, WI. The 99.8 million project started in August 2012 and was completed in October 2014. In total, the job entailed 1,146,000 cubic yards of excavation, 32,000 cubic yards of bridge work, 290,000 square yards of concrete pavement, 534,000 tons of aggregates, 70,000 tons of asphalt, and 27,000 linear feet of drainage pipe.
Succeeding with a project of this scale, HCC once again proved that exceptional Project Management, Engineering, and dependability are the attributes that the 4th generation company has been built upon.
As Jim Hoffman, HCC President said “I am extremely proud of the HCC management and crews on the completion of the 41/29 job. It was a big job that we knew we could handle, but it did have its challenges and deadlines that needed to be met. If not for their perseverance and staying the course, this job would have not been the success that it is. There’s a phrase that my uncle, David Hoffman, said many years ago that I firmly believe in, and is our company motto – “Our Company is our People”. It also helps when you have great subcontractors on the job with you, including Trierweiler Construction, Zenith Tech, Kraemer North America, and Payne & Dolan. Great job everyone!”
